Cookies
Last updated 16 July 2026
Hi-Eat uses very little. There are no advertising cookies and no third party trackers on this site.
What we store on your device
These are kept in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, and they are read only by Hi-Eat:
- Your sign-in token - keeps you signed in between visits. Removed when you sign out.
- Your basket - what you have added but not yet paid for, so it survives a page refresh.
- Your current order - the order the tracking page shows by default.
- Your name and email - so pages can greet you without asking the server first.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not let third parties place trackers on this site.
Clearing it
Signing out removes your token. Clearing your browser data for hi-eat.co.uk removes all of the above, which will empty your basket and sign you out.
Payments
Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored on Hi-Eat's own servers. We keep only the card type, the last four digits and the expiry date so you can recognise a saved card.
